primary goal of the LAX Planning process is to explore ways that our region can meet projected needs for air transportation while balancing those needs with the concerns of airport area communities. This cannot take place without careful consideration and thoughtful planning.
Public involvement is key to any airport planning, and this website will provide up-to-date information to the public. This website contains basic facts about the LAX Planning process, the master plan, environmental studies, including the
community benefits agreement,
mitigation monitoring and reporting program, are available online. A Stakeholder Liaison Office has also been established to facilitate community information and involvement.
